Isolate the layer first
- Try another site: if only one site fails, it's that site or DNS, not a dead proxy.
- Everything fails: continue below.
Check one by one
- Is the system proxy actually on? Confirm "Set system proxy" is ticked in the tray.
- TUN and system proxy both on → turn one off to avoid a loop.
- Node dead? Re-update the subscription and test another.
- A wrong system clock breaks the VMess handshake → sync the time.
Still nothing
Open the log and see whether a request went out direct or proxy. If a domain that should be proxied went direct, it's a routing / split-rule problem.
