What a subscription is

A subscription is an http(s) link containing a group of nodes packaged by a provider or your own server. Once imported, v2rayN parses out several servers; when the provider rotates nodes you only click "Update" instead of re-adding by hand.

Adding it

  1. Menu → Subscriptions → Subscription settings.
  2. Click Add, paste the link into the URL field, and give it a name in the remark field.
  3. Confirm, return to the main window, then Subscriptions → "Update (without proxy)".

When import fails

  • Open the link directly in a browser — it's healthy if it downloads a blob of base64 text.
  • Can't reach it → try "Update (via proxy)", which requires one working node first.
  • Empty result → the link may have expired; copy a fresh one from the provider's dashboard.
